Safety Reps Publications - Hands Up for Safety

New laws mean that NSW employers now have a duty to consult with employees about safety issues.

There are three ways for employees to have their say in the consultation process.

  1. By electing an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Representative

  2. By electing an OHS Committee (for workplaces of at least 20 people)

  3. Through other arrangements agreed with the employer.

To Elect a Safety Rep for your workgroup just complete and send the nomination form to your union.
