This Code of Practice may be cited as the Code of Practice for the Safe Handling of Timber Preservatives and Treated Timber 1991.The object of this Code of Practice is to adopt the National Code and Guidance Note and thereby provide practical guidance to
employers, self-employed persons and employees to ensure the health and safety of workers handling timber preservatives and timber treated with preservatives.
