This Code of Practice may be cited as the Code of Practice for the Safe Use of Vinyl Chloride 1991.The object of this Code of Practice is to adopt the National Code and thereby to provide practical guidance to employers,
self-employed persons and employees in the identification of health hazards, the evaluation of risks and the control of exposure associated with vinyl chloride and its subsequent polymerisation to polyvinyl chloride (PVC) at workplaces.
