Codes of PracticeThe WorkCover Authority of NSW has produced these Industry Codes of Practice. Copies of these codes of practice are available from the UnionSafe websiteIT'S THE LAW! There are laws that cover workplace safety. For example there is the OHS Act 2000 and the NSW OHS Regulation 2001. In addition to the Acts and Regulation WorkCover has produced a number of Codes of Practice. These provide practical guidance for employers and employees to follow. WorkCover inspectors often refer to Codes of Practice when issuing notices to employers.
